NINE INCH NAILS: Sydney Shows Postponed

May 11, 2007

NINE INCH NAILS has posted the following message on its web site:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, NINE INCH NAILS will be enable to perform tonight (Friday, May 11) at Luna Park [in Sydney, Australia]. The show has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2007. Please hold onto your ticket as tickets for Friday's (May 11) performance will be valid for the rescheduled date. Additionally, yesterday's show (Thursday, May 10) [in Sydney] has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 15, 2007. Fans with tickets from Thursday's (May 10) performance should hold onto their tickets as they will be valid for the new date.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding."

NINE INCH NAILS' new album, "Year Zero", debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard album chart, selling 187,000 copies in its first week of release. The group's previous effort, 2005's "With Teeth", moved 272,000 copies.

The new CD's much-talked-about marketing campaign has involved cryptic voicemails and a maze of eerie web sites in addition to leaked music.

NINE INCH NAILS will visit Japan later this month. North American tour plans are still to be announced.
